  • Do I need to pay a downpayment before you begin drawing or painting?
    Yes. I require a 30%, non-refundable, down payment before I begin any commissioned drawing or painting. For simpler graphics designs, I don't require a downpayment.
  • Do you charge by the square inch?
    No. My prices are based on the time it will take me to complete a piece and the cost of the materials I will use.
  • How long does it take you to complete a commission?
    Normally, it take 2-5 days for me to complete a drawing. Acrylic paintings require, at least, 3 extra days of drying time before I can apply the final coats of varnish.
  • Does your work come in a frame?
    Yes. Commissioned pieces, up to 16x20, that are drawn on paper come in a basic glass frame. The price of the frame is included in the cost of the work. Drawings that are larger than 16x20 require more expensive frames so the cost of those drawings is slightly higher. Prints of my work can be ordered with or without a frame depending on the supplier.
  • Is shipping included in the prices?
    Items for sale in my shop inlude shipping and handling costs. The costs of shipping commissioned drawings and paintings will be added to the final sale price before your drawing or painting is shipped.
  • Do I need to pay before you ship, my artwork?"
    Yes. I require payment before I ship your artwork.
  • Which company do you use to ship your items?
    Canada Post is the company I trust to handle shipping and returns for my commissioned drawings and paintings. Print on demand items for sale in my shop are handled by the print providers. Each print provider uses the shipping company they prefer.
  • Do you show me a sketch of the drawing to review before you make a final drawing or painting?
    Yes. After you make the initial deposit, I will show the initial sketch to you before I add color, shading and details. I also share updates about the progress of each drawing or painting.
  • Can I pick up my artwork?
    Yes. You can pick up your artwork in person.
  • Do you deliver?
    Yes. For a fee. I can deliver items to locations within Calgary city limits and to communities on the outskirts of Calgary. If you select the delivery option when you checkout the delivery fee will be added to your payment before you pay. I charge $10 to deliver within Calgary and $20 to deliver to communities on the outskirts of the city. Delivery is free on orders over $250. Please contact me to confirm that delivery is available in your area.
  • Do you accept returns?
    I do not accept returns on commissioned art work. It is recommended that you purchase insurance on any commissioned artwork that will be shipped to you. In most cases, we do not accept returns on items purchased in my online shop. However, if your items are damaged in shipping you are eligible for a store credit that will be used to replace your damaged item. Please review our returns policy.
  • How is my credit card information used?
    Our company is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
  • How is my personal information used?
    The information you provide, such as your name, mailing address, email address, phone number is used solely for the purpose of shipping your products and to ensure we have accurate records of our transactions. We may share your name, mailing address and email address with our shipping service providers to ship your products to you. ​ We collect this personal information for the following reasons: ​ 1. To provide and operate the Services; 2. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages; 3. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 4. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations. ​ When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
  • Is your artwork copywritten?
    Yes. All the art on this site was created by me and is protected under copyright law. If you'd like to use one of these designs, please contact me to obtain a license to do so.
  • How can I obtain a license to use one of your designs?
    Please contact me with information about the images you'd like to use and how you'd like to use them. I grant two types of licenses. One for personal use and the other for commercial use. There are fees for the licenses. A personal use license will cost $20. The price for a a commercial use license needs to be negotiated.
